Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, and disposal services to:
- Remove approximately 3,000 gallons of #2 fuel oil from a 4,500-gallon nominal capacity above-ground storage tank (AST).
- Clean and decontaminate the tank interior.
- Render the tank vapor-free for testing.
- Place the tank in a safe condition for permanent out-of-service status.
- Safeguard the tank against tampering or unauthorized reuse.
- Provide comprehensive documentation of the final tank condition and waste disposition. Physical removal of the tank itself is NOT required. The work must comply with various standards including NFPA 30, NFPA 326, OSHA, EPA RCRA, DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations, and Georgia EPD requirements.
