Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force (AFLCMC/PAE C3BM) is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) for the CRC RRSVS TCRR program. This RFI seeks industry input on current or future voice/data communications suites within Tactical C2, specifically for a Remote Radio Secure Voice System (RRSVS) capability extension for the Control and Reporting Center (CRC) that aligns with the Tactical Operations Center – Light (TOC-L) Major Release 2 (MR 2) system architecture. Responses are due March 2, 2026.
Scope of Work
The government aims to develop a TOC Remote Radio (TCRR) system that provides a remote suite of TOC mission-capable radios, integrated via a remote interface with TOC-L MR 2. Key requirements include:
- Maximum TOC-L commonality and Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) integration.
- Support for mobilizing equipment to forward battle management areas for secure voice and data communications.
- Integration with CRC sensors and use of the same transit case system as TOC-L.
- Utilization of self-encrypting L3Harris radios (PRC-160 and PRC-167) with NSA Type 1 encryption.
- Interface with CRC-provided long-haul connections (COMSATCOM, MILSATCOM, 4G/5G, commercial internet) using bulk encryption via a KG-175 encryptor.
- Provision of voice/data switching and user interfaces consistent with REDCOM systems in TOC-L.
