Statement of Work (SOW)

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for the Contractor to furnish, install, and test a new 12-strand single-mode OSP dielectric fiber optic cable (FOC) from Building 3458 Core Node to Building 6413 49 Test facility at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.

Amendment / Modification

This amendment (Amendment 02) to Solicitation FA460826QS008, Fiber Install, serves two primary purposes:

• Replaces Statement of Work (SOW): It replaces the previous Attachment 2, Statement of Work, dated 12 February 2026, with an updated version dated 25 February 2026. The new SOW includes a diagram of manhole locations between Building 3458 and Building 6413.
• Provides Responses to Questions: It includes the government's answers to questions submitted by vendors regarding the requirement.

An "Acknowledgement of Amendment 02" signature page is now required and must be submitted with offers.

• Attachment 2, Statement of Work (SOW), dated 12 February 2026, is replaced in its entirety by the SOW dated 25 February 2026.

• Offerors must sign and submit the "Acknowledgement of Amendment 02" signature page (page 5 of the amendment) with their quote to signify agreement with the updated terms and conditions.

• All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for a Contractor to furnish, install, and test a new Corning 12-strand single-mode Outside Plant (OSP) dielectric fiber optic cable (FOC).
