• All work must comply with applicable standards of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), specifically NFPA 72 for fire alarm systems and NFPA 25 for water-based fire protection systems.

• Technicians must be certified, factory-trained, and NICET certified.

• Reports must be submitted to the Government Point of Contact (POC) upon completion of work.

• The work is to be performed at the Chicago TRACON facility, including the main TRACON facility, FMP Building, and Guard Shack.

• Normal service calls are Monday-Friday, 0600-1600 local time (excluding federal holidays).

• Emergency service is available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, with a 4-hour acknowledgment and 24-hour on-site response requirement.

• Coordination with the Government POC is required to minimize operational impact.

• Work requiring night operations must be performed between 2200 and 0400 hours, unless otherwise coordinated.

• Replacement parts or major components require authorization and a written quote, unless immediate repair is needed.

• A manufacturer's standard warranty covering workmanship and installed components is required upon completion.

Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide the necessary manpower, material, and equipment to test, inspect, and maintain the Fire Prevention and Life Safety System at the Chicago TRACON, Elgin, Illinois.

• Perform annual tests, inspections, and services on EST3 fire alarm and detection systems.
