Scope of Work
The contract requires the manufacturing of Fitting, Lubrication in accordance with SAE AS15004 Part Number AS15004-3, with specific amplifications and modifications. Key requirements include:
- Thread Inspection: Adherence to FED-STD-H28 series or acceptable commercial equivalents (ASME B1 series).
- Mercury Free: Components must be free of mercury and mercury-containing compounds.
- Configuration Control: Strict maintenance of equipment baseline configuration, with all waivers, deviations, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) requiring Government review and approval.
- Quality System: Contractors must maintain a quality system compliant with ISO-9001 (or MIL-I-45208 as an alternate) and calibration system requirements of ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 (or MIL-STD-45662 as an alternate).
- Traceability & Certification: Comprehensive material traceability to Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) per MIL-STD-792, and submission of a detailed Certificate of Compliance for all SPECIAL EMPHASIS material.
- Government Quality Assurance: Government Quality Assurance (GQA) will be performed at the source, with DCMA QARs reviewing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures.
