A Certificate of Compliance (SPECIAL EMPHASIS C of C) is mandatory, showing traceability to individual items and including specific contract and material details. All materials must be Mercury Free. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD 2073. Government Quality Assurance at source is required.
Submission & Evaluation
Certification data must be submitted to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for review and acceptance via WAWF (Wide Area Work Flow) prior to each shipment. No material is to be shipped without acceptance. Access to associated drawings requires a request on SAM.gov followed by an email to the Point of Contact. The original solicitation indicated that past performance is more important than price, and the government reserves the right to award to other than the lowest-priced offer.
