Quick Summary

Amendment 003 to Solicitation #75H70726Q00035 extends the response deadline for the Indian Health Service (IHS) requirement for Four (4) Administrative Support Assistants at the Santa Fe Indian Health Center (SFIHC) in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This opportunity is set aside under the Buy Indian Act and is open to Small Businesses. Proposals are now due by March 13, 2026.

Scope of Work

The contractor will provide four full-time Administrative Support Assistants to assist the Administration Office, Finance Department, Front Desk, and Greeter functions at SFIHC. Duties include managing correspondence, preparing documents, scheduling meetings, handling inquiries, purchasing supplies, coordinating new staff orientation, preparing travel requests, and timekeeping. Personnel must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Teams, possess database and file management skills, basic financial literacy (for ordering supplies, travel requests, reports), and event coordination. Assistants may rotate to satellite clinics (Santa Clara, San Felipe, Cochiti Health Centers) and must be able to work with multicultural patients. Background checks, fingerprinting, and specific health requirements (vaccinations, TB tests) are mandatory. These are strictly administrative functions and do not involve direct patient care.

Key Clarifications

  • This is a new requirement.
  • Billing is based on actual hours worked, not exceeding 2,080 per FTE annually. Contractors are responsible for providing Service Contract Act (SCA) and Executive Order (EO) fringe benefits, as "no leave" means hours are not billable.
  • On-call, weekend, and holiday duties are at government discretion and may or may not be mandatory, accounted for within the 2,080 annual FTE.
  • Medical liability insurance is not applicable for Administrative Support Assistants.
  • The Indian Health Service (IHS) Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Representation Form is critical for eligibility and must be completed.
