Scope of Work
The contractor will provide full maintenance and repair services for all VTE, including elevators, escalators, wheelchair/stair lifts, dock levelers, and dumbwaiters, ensuring continuous and safe operation. Services encompass routine and emergency calls, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and replacements. Work must adhere to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) A17.1-2016 Safety Code and other relevant industry standards. Key requirements include developing a Maintenance Control Program (MCP) and a Quality Control Program (QCP). Routine service calls require a four-hour response, while emergency calls require a two-hour response. Excluded services include alterations, damage from vandalism, abuse, negligence, acts of God, and cosmetic repairs.
