• Floor Plan/Dimensions: A floor plan (CAD file) and room dimensions will not be provided.
• Photos: Photos of the existing space and furniture cannot be shared due to the Commander's location.
• Furniture Removal: Removal of existing furniture is required as part of a one-for-one swap. Disassembly of existing furniture is the vendor's responsibility.
• Room Location & Access: Room 106 is not on the ground floor. Building 1404 has no loading dock, and furniture will need to be carried up stairs for installation and removal.

These clarifications provide specific details on what is not being provided (CAD files, photos) and clarify responsibilities for furniture removal and building access, which may impact vendor planning and cost estimations.

Statement of Requirement (SOR)

To outline the requirements for renovating the Commander’s Executive Office Suite in Building 1404 and procuring new office furniture for the Commander’s executive staff. The goal is to ensure the workspace reflects professionalism and operational excellence.

Furniture Procurement:

• All furniture must be sourced exclusively from Daran Furniture in the Crimson Cherry finish.
• Specific furniture items required include:
  • Executive Desks (Qty 2)
  • Fixed-Back Bridges (Qty 2)
  • Workstation Credenzas (Qty 2)
  • Overhead Storage Consoles with Glass Doors (Qty 2)
  • Full-Height Storage Towers with Lateral File (Qty 2)
  • Full Width Tackboards for Overhead Console (Qty 2)
  • Four-Drawer Lateral File Cabinets (Qty 1)
  • Overhead Bookcase Hutch with Beveled Glass (Qty 2)
• Contractor shall ensure proper delivery, assembly, and placement.

Renovation:

• Details of renovation are not specified in this document, but the SOR implies a renovation is part of the overall requirement.

• All work shall meet professional industry standards and comply with applicable building codes and safety regulations.

• Government inspections will be conducted.

• All items provided must be brand new.

• To be established in contract award documents.

• Delivery Location: Ira C. Eaker CTR for Leadership Dev, 525 Chennault Circle, Bldg. 1404 RM 106, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112. A lift gate truck is required for delivery.

• Installation: Contractor manages ordering, shipment, delivery, installation, and final acceptance. Services include space planning, site verification, material selection, programming, assembly, and removal/transport of existing furniture.

• Warranty: Contractor shall provide all OEM standard commercial warranties and documentation.

• Security: Requirements for base access, identification badges, vehicle passes, and compliance with installation traffic laws and policies are detailed. No CAC required for services. Contractor must notify the contracting officer of on-base performance details.

• Delivery: Site verification is required prior to delivery. No loading dock available.

• Furniture Procurement: All new office furniture must be sourced exclusively from Daran Furniture and must match the "Crimson Cherry" finish used in the Commander's office to ensure uniformity.

• Furniture Types: Selections include desks, credenzas, storage units, and any additional items necessary for daily operations.

• Delivery & Installation: Contractor is responsible for proper delivery, assembly, and placement of all furniture.

• Renovation Alignment: All renovation work must comply with existing building codes, safety requirements, and accessibility standards.

• New Items Only: All provided items must be brand new; refurbished items are not authorized.
