Quick Summary

Corey VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL. This opportunity is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Proposals are due June 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.
Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and materials for the redesign and upgrade of existing interior wayfinding, identification, and regulatory signage. This includes updating and standardizing signage based on the 2023 VA Signage Design Manual, rectifying ADA compliance issues, replacing existing facility directories with digital, non-interactive versions, and replacing/evaluating overhead and wall-mounted directional signs. The project also involves demolition of existing signs, electrical work for electrified signs, and adherence to detailed specifications and drawings.
Contract Details
This is a Firm-Fixed-Price contract with an estimated magnitude of construction between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The period of performance is 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This is a Total SDVOSB Set-Aside, requiring offerors to be registered in SAM.gov and SBA VetCert, and to perform at least 15% of the contract cost with their own employees. Performance, Payment, and Bid Bonds are required.
Key Requirements
Bidders must comply with Davis Bacon Wage Determinations, Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM). Safety requirements include OSHA-approved courses and a site-specific safety program. Asbestos management and construction waste management plans are also critical. Subcontracting limitations apply, requiring a mandatory certification.
Submission & Evaluation
Proposals are due by June 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST, and must be submitted as separate Technical and Price documents. Evaluation will be on a trade-off basis, with technical factors being more important than price.
