Scope of Work

The requirement is for residential housing services under the Health Care for Homeless Veteran (HCHV) Program. Services include residential room and board, an alcohol and drug-free environment, facilitation of Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous (AA/NA) affiliation, supportive social activities, and individual counseling to support engagement in VA treatment. The target population consists of veterans who are homeless or require shelter, need care for substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health disorders, and are capable of self-care. The residence must be within a 20-mile radius of the Alexandria VA Health Care System, Pineville, LA. The anticipated contract will cover a maximum of 10 safe house beds.
