Quick Summary
The Department of the Army, through W6QK ACC RRAD, is soliciting proposals for seven (7) independent gantry crane systems with 1000 lb. pneumatic hoists for a heavy industrial tire shop at Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are due May 7, 2026, by 1300 hrs CST.
Scope of Work
This combined synopsis/solicitation requires the delivery and turnkey installation of seven (7) new, current production gantry crane systems. Each system must include:
- A 1000 lb. rated pneumatic hoist with a lift speed of 35-55 ft/min, safety latch hook, and ergonomic pendant control.
- A rigid steel free-standing structure, identified as an "Underhung" overhead bridge crane, facilitating manual X-Y movement.
- A pneumatic header system with filter, regulator, lubricator, shutoff valve, drip leg, and drain point, along with air hoses and festoon kits.
The vendor is responsible for complete turnkey installation, including off-loading, assembly, leveling, securing to the foundation, and connection to Government-provided pneumatic utility points (within 20 feet). Specific dimensions are detailed for each system, with a required "Height under bridge of 12'." Installation will occur in Building 345, a heavy industrial environment with an approximate overall height of 17' to building girders, but potential lower obstructions. Roll-up doors are ~13' tall. The concrete floor is old and unlevel. Vendors must provide all material handling and off-loading equipment as the building is ground level with no dock.
