This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for a construction project involving roadwork and related improvements within the Shawnee National Forest.

• Road closures require written approval from the Contracting Officer (CO).

• Material storage must be confined to areas approved by the CO.

• Contractor shall provide adequate signing and barricades, and implement safety measures to protect the public.

• Contractor shall minimize disturbance of undisturbed areas.

The work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, drainage excavation, clearing and grubbing, aggregate base and surface placement, roadway reconditioning, roadway excavation/new roadway construction, culvert removal and installation, small culvert headwall removal and installation, and specialty masonry for removal and replacement of a historic stone headwall.
