This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial construction services for the GAOA Star Meadows MEP, Repairs, & Utility Installation. Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

• Existing Facilities: Contractor is responsible for replacing or repairing any damaged existing facilities or structures at no additional cost to the Government.

• Pollution and Erosion Control: Measures must be taken to prevent soil erosion and pollution. Refuse must be stored, collected, and disposed of in a sanitary manner at State-approved landfills.

• Coordination: Regular contact and coordination with the District Operations and other contractors are required to avoid hindering operations.

• Storage and Stockpiling: Equipment and materials must be confined to limits set by the Contracting Officer.

• Worksite Cleanliness: Project areas must be maintained in a clean and orderly condition throughout the work.

• Equipment: All equipment and tools must be in good mechanical and operating condition.

• Weather Conditions: Work may be suspended if weather conditions preclude effective protection of resources or negatively impact project results.

• Sanitary Facilities: A vault toilet and handpump are available on site. Water supply will be disrupted during construction.

• Notification: Contractor must notify the Contracting Officer (CO) at least two weeks prior to entering a work site.

• Hauling and Disposal: All loads must be covered during hauling, and materials removed from the site must be disposed of legally off National Forest System lands at the Contractor's expense.

• Fire Control: Contractor is responsible for Contractor-caused fires and must comply with fire prevention and suppression plan requirements, including providing fire tools and extinguishers.

• Noxious Weed Control: Equipment must be cleaned prior to mobilizing onto National Forest lands and inspected by the Forest Service.
