1. Is the 2 hour on site requirement for Emergence call a must have?
a. Yes. These are back-up generators that need to be operational within 2hrs or less as IT equipment switches to battery back-up which only lasts for a very short time with the heavy data center load.
2. Can you clarify the Testing requirements for the Load Banking of each generator ? Load Percentages and time for each level
a. This is outlined within PWS para 4.1.5.1
i. 30 minutes at 20% of rated load of genset.
ii. 30 minutes at 50% of rated load of genset.
3. Are there different requirements for each generator?
a. No, generators are all Caterpillar and follow the same type of load bank testing.
4. How often does the Load Testing happen, and what time of year?
a. This is outlined with PWS para 4.1.5.1
i. Annual load bank test
5. Doing the Advantage ESC, witch CAT Dealership does the report get sent to?
a. Once the vendor performs services, they return to their office to finalize the service and send a copy to our facilities management team and the COR. This action usually takes them less than 2-3 days (depending on workload)

2. Additionally, are there any notable changes to the scope of work compared to the prior award?
a. The scope of the contract has changed significantly since the previous award. Key additions include annual Advantage Extended Service Coverage (ESC) certification inspection, load bank testing, battery replacement, consumable parts replacement, and fluid sampling and testing services. These enhancements were introduced to address the requirements brought about by upgraded equipment, improved maintenance procedures, the need for additional coverage for new assets, and expanded preventive maintenance services. Incorporating fluid sampling also helps prevent equiopment damage, making the new contract more comprehensive and cost-effective by consolidating service that were previously sourced separately at higher expense.
