Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force (763rd ESS) is conducting a Sources Sought to identify potential sources for Gulfstream Flight Attendant Egress Simulation Training (FAEST) for Fiscal Years 2028-2032. This market research aims to find qualified large and small businesses capable of providing in-depth classroom and simulator training for USAF Flight Attendants on Gulfstream V (C-37A) and Gulfstream 550 (C-37B) aircraft, with a focus on emergency procedures and safe passenger egress. Responses are due by May 8, 2026.
Scope of Work
The contractor will be required to develop and deliver a comprehensive training plan for both initial and refresher training. This training must adhere to the USAF Cabin Operating Manual (COM) for each aircraft Mission Designation Series (MDS). Key training areas include:
- Egress Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE)
- Fire Fighting Procedures/Training (simulated environment)
- Ditching Procedures/Training (including wet ditching in a pool)
- Emergency Procedures (using an aircraft cabin egress trainer)
- Aircraft Systems Training
- Hazardous Material Handlers Training (focus on "dry ice" and lithium batteries)
- In-Flight Illness Training (including CPR/AED certification)
- Water Survival Training
Training will be conducted at the contractor's facility, and instructors must possess prior military aviation experience. Performance standards require high operational readiness for simulator drills, firefighting equipment, and water survival aids (98% working condition).
