Scope of Work
The requirement is for a comprehensive training plan encompassing in-depth aircraft classroom and egress simulator training (initial and refresher). Training must adhere to the USAF Cabin Operating Manual (COM) for each aircraft Mission Designation Series (MDS). Key training areas include:
- Egress Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE)
- Fire Fighting Procedures/Training (simulated environment)
- Ditching Procedures/Training (including wet ditching in a pool)
- Emergency Procedures (using an aircraft cabin egress trainer)
- Aircraft Systems Training
- Hazardous Material Handlers Training (focus on "dry ice" and lithium batteries)
- In-Flight Illness Training (including CPR/AED certification)
- Water Survival Training
Training is to be conducted at the contractor's facility, with a maximum of nine hours per day and a minimum 12-hour crew rest. Instructors must have prior military aviation experience. The contractor must provide all instructional materials, qualified personnel, equipment, and tools.
