Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

Equipment operation in live streams or hydraulic flushing is not permitted. Contractors must prevent the spread of invasive weeds if working in infested areas, using approved wash stations.

• Furnish and Install Culvert: Install 18" to 72" diameter Aluminized Type II Coated Corrugated Metal Pipe (or specified alternative), including bedding and backfilling. Maximum installation depth is 5 ft from the finished road surface to the pipe inlet. Dewatering is incidental. Government may furnish culverts in some cases.

• Load, Haul, and Place Rip-Rap: Furnish and place riprap for bank, slope, and erosion control, using VA DOT Class I riprap (12"-24", mean 18" diameter). Material must be approved by the COR. Conversion factor for tonnage to cubic yards is 1 CY = 1.5 tons.
