Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor required for the maintenance and repair of aircraft hangar doors. Key services include:
- Annual Inspections: Comprehensive inspections of all aircraft hangar and tail/aperture doors, with written reports detailing condition and necessary repairs submitted within ten (10) business days.
- Preventive Maintenance: Performing maintenance during inspections to ensure reliable and safe operation, adhering to commercial practices and manufacturer specifications.
- Service Calls:
- Emergency Service: On-site response within four (4) hours of notification to return doors to normal operation, with price quotations submitted before work begins.
- Routine Repair Service: Reporting to the work location within 24 hours of notification, surveying repairs, and completing work within two (2) business days unless otherwise approved.
- Reimbursable Parts: Procurement of necessary parts, reimbursed at cost, with competition required for parts estimated at $3,000.00 or more.
