Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To repair Hangar Door #2 of the 5-door Vertical Lifting Fabric Hangar Door (VLFHD) system to full operation, ensuring full and safe functionality.

• Inspect, repair, and calibrate the entire 5-door aircraft hangar system.

• Perform work in accordance with local, state, federal laws, manufacturer requirements, OSHA, and UFGS 08 34 16.20.

• The contractor is responsible for all field measurements and determining material quantities and sizes.

• The 2d Civil Engineer Squadron will provide an 80' articulating lift and a 100' Electrical Bucket truck for inspections.

• Ensure continuous and safe operation of the hangar door system.

• Maintain clear access for occupants and emergency egress.

• Coordinate all temporary closures and protective procedures with the Contracting Officer.

• Work hours are between 07:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays and weekends.

• Clean up each work site daily to the satisfaction of the Point of Contact (POC).

• Remove all demolished equipment and debris upon completion, leaving the area neat and acceptable.

• Work to be performed at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.

• Contractors must be escorted for the duration of work as the facility is on the flight line.

• Provide copies of vehicle registration, insurance, and license plate numbers for all contract vehicles to Airfield Base Operations.

• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with governing laws, supplying necessary documents to 2CES/CEOEM.

• Protect all building property and personnel; repair or be held liable for any damage.

• Exercise control measures for dust and toxic fumes to prevent hazards or illnesses.
