Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, safety equipment, vehicles, licenses, and permits for the packaging, manifesting, transporting, and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste. This includes monitoring, maintaining, and removing waste, as well as furnishing Department of Transportation (DOT)-compliant containers. Chemical waste removal is to occur Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding Federal holidays. The contractor must demonstrate competence in hazardous waste management, proficiency in "Lab Pack" disposal procedures, and ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. Certificates of Disposal must be provided to the Hazardous Waste Coordinator within three months of waste receipt at the disposal facility.
