Yosemite National Park requires the sorting, packaging, removal, and proper disposal of various types of hazardous waste from the maintenance warehouse in El Portal, California.

• The contractor shall ensure hazardous waste is properly segregated, safely packaged, labeled, documented, loaded, and placarded in accordance with state and federal regulations.

• The contractor shall provide personnel, labor, transportation, test equipment, packaging materials, and documentation required to legally transport hazardous waste.

• The contractor shall perform work in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements/laws promulgated by federal, state, and local jurisdiction.

• HAULING RESTRICTIONS: Vehicles over 45 feet are prohibited. 1-way controlled traffic for other vehicles 20 miles East of Mariposa (Mariposa County) 24 hours per day, seven days per week due to rockslide repairs. The road leading to Wawona (Hwy 41) can close during inclement weather.

• Pickup Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday, closed on federal holidays.

• Coordination of pickup is critical to ensure someone is present to allow contractor access. Contractor will be provided with park contact information upon award.
