Scope of Work

The work involves comprehensive waste management services, including pre-removal, removal, and post-removal phases.

  • Geographic Coverage: Services are required at DoW installations in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Israel. Additional Eastern European countries may be added.
  • Services Include: Removal, transportation, treatment, recycling, disposal, sampling and analytical services, equipment rental, overpacking/loose-packing, lab packing, industrial cleaning, and removal of appliances containing ozone-depleting substances (ODS).
  • Exclusions: Infectious/biohazardous medical wastes, controlled pharmaceutical wastes, radioactive wastes, and Materials Potentially Presenting an Explosive Hazard (MPPEH) are not covered.

Performance Requirements

Contractors must ensure personnel are qualified, trained (including HAZWOPER, ADR), and English proficient. Strict documentation, including manifests and certificates of disposal, is required. Performance standards include a standard removal time of 15 business days (20 for Greece) and the use of DLA Qualified Facilities List (QFL) and Qualified Transporters List (QTL).
