Statement of Work (SOW)

To lease one (1) heavy forklift with a 25-ton load-carrying capability to supplement the Ammunition Center Europe's (ACE) forklift fleet for ammunition storage and demilitarization program needs.

• Lease one heavy forklift as specified in Exhibit A.

• Provide and conduct all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair for the leased equipment.

• The forklift must meet specific capabilities including load-handling, lift stability, maneuverability, and safety features (rollover protection, backup alarms, operator presence systems).

• Contractor must provide a Point of Contact (POC) and alternate POC within 15 days of award.

• Contractor travel costs for delivery, maintenance, repair, training, and recovery are included in the overall price.

• Forklift must be no older than 2 years and have a maximum of 2000 working hours.

• Forklift must be in safe operating condition and comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local safety regulations.

• If the forklift is inoperable for 48 hours or more, the contractor must provide a replacement within 24 hours at no additional cost.

• Scheduled maintenance and repair of malfunctions are the contractor's responsibility.

• Delivery to Miesau Army Depot, Bahnhofstr. 78, 66892 Bruchmühlbach-Miesau.

• Turn-in from Miesau Army Depot.

• Lease payments accrue from the contract start or delivery date until expiration or termination.

• Contractor personnel (POC and Alternate) must meet English proficiency levels for reading, writing, and speaking (Level I).

• Contractor must comply with installation access and security requirements.

• Contractor must provide technical manuals, manufacturer's certificates, and operator manuals in English and German upon delivery.

• Contractor must provide user training for up to 10 personnel on proper operation and maintenance within 10 days of delivery, conducted in German.

• Forklift must be diesel-powered (minimum 185 kW, EU Stage 4 / Tier 4f) with pneumatic tires.

• Cabin must be fully enclosed, air-conditioned, and ergonomic.

• Specific safety features required include warning beacon, reverse alarm, raised cabin, electronic weighing system, and backup camera.

• Technical documentation in German and English is required.

• Packing, transport, and insurance costs are included in the lease price.

• Equipment must be ready to use upon delivery.
