  • Testing & Certification: Extensive testing requirements including Liquid Penetrant Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, Weldability Test, and a Proof Pressure Test at 1050 PSI for each assembly. Certifications are required for material, tests, and consumed weld metal.
  • Quality Assurance: Adherence to ISO-9001 (or MIL-I-45208) quality systems, with Government Source Inspection (GSI) at the contractor's plant. Strict traceability and certification for Level I/SUBSAFE material are mandatory.
  • Welding & Brazing: Procedures and personnel must be qualified under S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278 or 0900-LP-001-7000. Repair welding is not permitted on QQ-N-286 material.
