- Inspection and Refurbishment: Cleaning, identifying markings, and refurbishing items per Drawing 845-5770309, Assembly 11A, with specific modifications.
- Material Requirements: Detailed specifications for materials like ASTM-B369, MIL-C-15726, QQ-N-281, and QQ-N-286 for various parts (Body, Flanges, Top/Bottom Plate, Socket Head Cap Screws, Tubing).
- Testing & Certification: Extensive testing requirements including Liquid Penetrant Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, Weldability Test, and a Proof Pressure Test at 1050 PSI for each assembly. Certifications are required for material, tests, and consumed weld metal.
- Quality Assurance: Adherence to ISO-9001 (or MIL-I-45208) quality systems, with Government Source Inspection (GSI) at the contractor's plant. Strict traceability and certification for Level I/SUBSAFE material are mandatory.
- Welding & Brazing: Procedures and personnel must be qualified under S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278 or 0900-LP-001-7000. Repair welding is not permitted on QQ-N-286 material.
- Configuration Control: Contractors must maintain equipment baseline configuration and follow procedures for Waivers/Deviations and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
- Government Furnished Property (GFP): GFP will be provided, and contractors must establish documented control procedures for its handling and inspection.
