Evaluation & Submission

Key Requirements & Instructions
- Inspection & Acceptance: Destination. Quality Assurance will involve Standard Inspection, as outlined in AFMC Form 807.
- Transportation: F.O.B. Destination. Vendors must contact DCMA Transportation for shipping instructions using the DCMA Shipment Instruction Request (SIR) eTool System for all movements. Regulatory clearances and shipping documentation are the vendor's responsibility.
- Packaging: Compliance with Commercial Packaging (ASTM-D-3951) is required. This includes adherence to ISPM NO.15 for Wood Packaging Material (WPM), mandating de-barked, heat-treated material with proper certification. Military marking per MIL-STD-129 may also apply. Shipments exceeding specific weight/dimension thresholds require skidded crates or pallets.
- Documentation: DD Form 1348-1A ("Issue Release/Receipt Document") must be included in packaging.
