Quote Requirements & Evaluation
Quotes must include costs for IUID, CAV asset processing, and packaging. Offerors must answer specific questions within their quote, including:
- Estimated Monetary Limitation Order (MLO) price for evaluation AND repair.
- Tear down and evaluate ONLY price (Not-to-Exceed for return to depot).
- New item price (ROM estimate).
- Quote expiration date (preferably valid until at least September 30).
- Repair turn-around-time for the first unit and monthly shipping capacity for subsequent units.
- Repair, Source Inspection, Source Acceptance, and Pack Locations (CAGE codes).
- Confirmation of overhaul, US repair location, and quantity incrementation.
- POC name and email.
Upon evaluation, an adequate proposal must detail evaluation findings, including the unit's condition as received, missing parts, parts needing replacement/refurbishment, out-of-spec conditions, failed tests, and the proposed scope of work for repair. The contracting officer reserves the right to exercise an option quantity within 365 days of award, allowing for varying option prices.
