Scope of Work
This 5-year IDIQ contract requires the supply of:
- Reconditioned Steel Drums: 55-gallon, both 1A2 (Open Top) and 1A1 (Closed Top) types, meeting DOT 49 CFR 178 for Packing Group II. Annual requirements range from 1,704 to 3,708 for open-top drums and 350 to 750 for closed-top drums. Drums must undergo cleaning, inspection, repair, and leakproofness testing.
- Storage Trailers: Three (3) clean, registered, insured, and road-ready trailers (48' or 53') capable of storing at least 288 drums. Two trailers will be delivered full of unused drums, and one will be empty for used drums.
- Delivery: Delivery orders will be issued for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Hazardous Waste Storage Facility, Building 357, Kittery, ME. Drum replenishment turnaround time is seven (7) working days.
