• Trap Construction: The traps are die-cut with holes for assembly into a ½ gallon milk carton size. They require folding and possibly stapling. A separate skirt section is included, but the main trap is formed from a single piece of cardstock.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (Spongy Moth Traps) prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) program requires these traps for insect detection surveys to monitor and protect American agriculture from exotic insect pests. • Material: Traps must be fabricated from liquid packaging grade 1/2 gallon milk carton paperboard stock, 0.024 inch nominal thickness, polyethylene plastic-coated on both sides, capable of withstanding outdoor service for 90 calendar days.

• Packaging: Uniform boxes not exceeding 240 traps per box, sturdy for shipping and stacking. Pallet height not to exceed 48 inches.
