Scope of Work
The contractor will perform a comprehensive industrial hygiene survey, including:
- Visual inspections for potential mold or pollutants and water leaks.
- Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Screening for Temperature, Relative Humidity, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, and Airborne Ambient Particulate Sampling (dust), utilizing instantaneous readings.
- Microbial sampling for total fungal spore concentration and identification (1 sample per 1,000 sq ft/room/containment area, plus 1 outdoor sample).
- Airborne fiber sampling using NIOSH 7400 method for Asbestos and Other Fibers.
- Lead dust sampling focusing on worker exposure.
- All sampling and analyses must adhere to USEPA, NIOSH, AIHA, and ACGIH criteria.
- Specific sample quantities include 121 samples for Building 21 and 11 samples for Building 21A. Building 21A has industrial maintenance operations with hazardous chemicals. Mechanical rooms are generally excluded, except for the penthouse fresh air mechanical room.
