Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for Infant Protection System and Maintenance Services for Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) at Fort Bragg, NC. The objective is to provide a safe environment for infants, mothers, and staff by maintaining an infant protection system that monitors and tracks the location of infants and mothers, and ensures a secure working environment. The contract will cover maintenance of related equipment on the 3rd floor of WAMC.

• Provide 24-hour/7-day a week user support (Level 1 and Level 2).

• Provide software maintenance updates.

• Perform annual comprehensive inspections, performance validation, and system re-certification.

• Provide zero-cost repairs and replacement of parts under warranty.

• Offer on-call maintenance service for routine and emergency repairs with specified response times (48-72 hours for routine, 2 hours for emergency).

• Provide standard stock refurbishments, including 100 infant transmitters supplied at least twice a year.

• Maintain and repair all hardware components listed on the Covered Equipment List to original manufacturer specifications.

• Provide updated versions of software and an annual Software Support Agreement (SSA).

• Perform work in a neat and satisfactory manner, including cutting and patching of building walls and partitions.

• Comply with all applicable regulations, including OSHA, Joint Commission, and NFPA guidelines.

• Contract Type: Non-personal services, fixed-price contract.

• Period of Performance: April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2029 (3 years).

• Place of Performance: Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC (specifically the 3rd and 4th floors housing inpatient wards for mothers, babies, and children).

• Basis for Award: Price. Award will be made to the sole source offeror provided its price is determined to be fair and reasonable. Discussions may be conducted if deemed appropriate, but the Contracting Officer intends to award without discussion.

The basic service objective includes:

• 24-hour / 7 days a week telephonic customer service for complaints and service requests.

• Routine service during day-time hours (0800-1600) for mild to moderate disruptions.

This is a non-personal, fixed-price service contract for maintenance and preventative service on the infant protection system. Vendors must hold and maintain certifications to avoid voiding the software warranty.
