Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for design-build construction services to replace the existing Steam Boiler and associated equipment with new equipment in Building 2316 at Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB), Idaho.

• Replace the current 50 horsepower steam boiler with a new 25 horsepower steam boiler.

• Recyclable materials may be taken to the base recycle center; otherwise, disposal off-base is required. Weight tickets for recycled materials must be submitted.

• Hazardous materials must be handled according to the base Environmental Protection Plan.

• The new boiler must be elevated off the floor by at least 4 inches.

• An emergency shutdown button will be installed.

• Manufacturer's representative will provide training for base operators after installation.
