This solicitation is for the "Replace 17H Blast Chiller Condenser" project at the Perry Point VA Medical Center. The government is procuring services for the removal and in-kind replacement of the existing blast chiller condenser for Building 17H - Dietetics.

• Removal and proper disposal of the existing condensing unit and cabinet.

• Evacuation of existing refrigerant (R-404A) into an approved recovery and reclaim system.

• Installation of a new condensing unit matching the specifications of the old unit.

• Tie-in to existing 1-5/8" suction line and 7/8" liquid line.

• Insulation of refrigerant lines with Armaflex.

• New condensing unit sized to fit the existing footprint (approx. 74"[W] x 43.5"[L] x 35.5"[H]) and installed a minimum of 6-inches off the ground.

• Power from existing 200-amp, 240 volt safety switch.

• Testing and commissioning of the new condensing unit.

• Warranty on new work for a period of no less than one (1) year from system acceptance, including on-site service response within 24 hours for system failures.

• Compliance with all applicable National and Local standards & codes, and construction safety codes.
