Scope of Work

The requirement involves providing all labor, transportation, materials, tools, and equipment to replace one damaged hydronic cooling coil for AHU-W. Key tasks include:

  • Removing existing AHU panels, insulation, and components.
  • Replacing the damaged cold-water coil with a new, functionally equivalent or better coil of equal capacity, featuring a corrosion-resistant coating (e.g., Electro Fin E-Coat or Epoxy Immersion Coating).
  • Reconnecting the existing hot water coil and insulating piping.
  • Testing newly installed components for water/air flows, cooling functions, and leaks.
  • Reinstalling cabinet panels, gaskets, and insulation, followed by a final functional check.
  • Removing all waste materials and debris. Work must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days. AHU shutdown work must be scheduled outside normal hospital hours (Friday afternoon to Sunday evening). The installing contractor must be licensed by the state of Texas.
