Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) for chemistry and monthly preventive maintenance services for two (2) Pentair soft water generators located at the Bath VA Medical Center. The requirement is for a firm-fixed-price contract.

• Chemistry and monthly preventive maintenance for two (2) Pentair soft water generators.

• The system must be certified to NSF/ANSI 61 standards.

• The generator must be a duplex, progressive flow softener system with a continuous flow rate of 59 GPM and a peak flow rate of 76 GPM.

• Softener tank must hold a minimum of 5 Cu. Ft. of softening Resin.

• Inlet and outlet ports must be at least 2" in diameter.

• Each unit must include built-in water meters, pressure relief valves, vacuum breakers, top-mounted valves, smart electronic controllers, and a 24" Dia.X50" high brine tank.

• Contractor must provide a fully operational turnkey system, including all chemistry.

• Vendor technicians must be OEM qualified and available 24/7 with a two-hour response time for emergencies.

• All work must comply with New York State and local building codes and applicable regulatory agencies.

• Period of Performance: 06/01/2026 - 05/31/2031 (Base year plus four (4) option years).

• Contract type: Firm-fixed-price.
