Scope of Work
The requirement involves the replacement and revitalization of UPS units and ongoing maintenance. Key tasks include:
- Replacement: Two existing APC Symmetra SYMSTRF UPS units in Building 61 server room are to be replaced with two latest 16 KVA APC Symmetra UPS units. Pricing for a single 16 KVA UPS replacement should be a separate line item.
- Revitalization: Restore reliability of the UPS in Building 3 server room by replacing active components (battery modules, power modules, intelligence modules, static switch, and communication card) and restoring the UPS alarm notification system.
- Preventive Maintenance: Provide two preventive maintenance services per contract year for UPS systems in Building 3 and Building 61, scheduled six months apart.
- Emergency Services: Offer emergency services within 24 hours, including travel, labor, and parts.
- Warranty: A two-year parts and labor warranty is required on all replaced equipment.
Clarifications from Q&A:

- For Building 3, equivalent brands to APC are not acceptable; for Building 61, equivalent brands are acceptable.
- Runtime requirements: Building 3 revitalization must provide equivalent runtime to the existing system at its manufacture date. Building 61 replacement UPS units must have equivalent or higher runtime.
- Access to server rooms will be escorted by IT. Work can generally be performed during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday), with weekend work reserved for server outages. IT personnel will be present during component and unit replacements.
