Sources Sought Announcement

This is a Sources Sought Announcement for market research to identify potential sources capable of providing preventative maintenance inspection and emergency repair services for eight (8) Government-owned Edwards Hemosphere Modules at the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System. This is not a solicitation, and the government is not obligated to award a contract.

• Scope: Provide labor, materials, supplies, parts, software, tools, equipment, and travel for preventative maintenance inspection (PMI) and emergency repair services on Edwards HEMOSPHERES, including cables and modules.
• Equipment: Eight (8) Edwards Hemosphere Modules (specific serial numbers provided in Table 1).
• Preventative Maintenance (PMI): Annual inspections including visual and external inspection, potential replacement of internal pump mechanisms, firmware upgrades, parts, calibration, functional testing, and ensuring equipment meets performance specifications and Joint Commission standards. All PMI-related replacement parts, travel, and transportation are at no cost to the Government.
• Emergency Repair Services: Provide quotes for emergency repairs. All repair services and replacement parts are at no cost to the Government. Requires prior approval from the Contracting Officer via modification before work begins.
• Technical Support: 24/7 phone technical support is required.
• Parts: Only new or like-new parts of current manufacture are acceptable. All parts must carry the manufacturer's standard commercial warranty. Worn or defective parts must be replaced at no cost to the Government.
