Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, and supplies to maintain NIEHS facilities free from filth and pathogens, enhancing overall appearance and sanitation. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and maintenance of all floor types (carpeted and non-carpeted), walls, fixtures, flat surfaces, chairs, and blinds.
- Provision of garbage receptacles, courtesy services, trash removal, and recycling collection.
- Glass surface cleaning and exterior trash pickup.
- Servicing of environmental rooms and window cleaning.
- Performing services quietly and orderly to avoid disturbing operations.
- Coordinating work to avoid interference with Government business or other contractors. Services will apply to all designated spaces, including offices, laboratories, restrooms, cafeterias, fitness centers, and interstitial spaces, covering approximately 361,258 sq ft of service area and an additional 315,945 sq ft of interstitial space. All workmanship must meet Government quality standards, with deficiencies corrected at no additional cost.
