Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the complete removal of the existing golf cart bridge and its concrete abutments, including below-grade components. The project requires the provision and installation of a new prefabricated steel bridge, which must be 8ft wide, at least 85ft long, with 42-inch high truss-style railings, and a black powder-coated finish. The bridge must have a minimum load capacity of 8 tons (16,000 lb) and utilize 3" x 12" pressure-treated Douglas Fir wood for decking. Site preparation includes new concrete abutments, approximately 6ft wide by 12ft long concrete approaches, safety fencing, and landscape shoring/retaining walls. The contractor must also manage daily cleanup, dispose of all debris off-base, and restore the site to its original condition. Golf course management will handle the removal of trees/branches impacting installation.

Evaluation Criteria
Award will be made to the responsible quoter submitting the technically acceptable lowest priced quote. The technical plan must detail the approach, methodology, site preparation, bridge specifications, decking materials, and cleanup procedures. It must also demonstrate the ability to start performance within 10 days of contract award and complete services within the 120-day period of performance. If more than three quotes are received, only the three lowest-priced quotes will be evaluated for technical acceptability.

The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary management, tools, equipment, labor, and vehicles, and must secure their own off-installation office facilities.
