The FAA requires a Level D Beechcraft 360ER FFS for regulatory-required 14 CFR Part 135 training and checking for AJF pilots, and for Aviation Safety (AVS) participant currency. The scope includes:
- Procurement, production, and installation of a Level D FFS compliant with 14 CFR Part 60 and Change 2.
- Provision of product support, training, and contractor maintenance for a 5-year base period and two option periods (3 and 2 years), totaling up to 10 years.
- Removal of the existing Airbus A330 simulator.
- Specific simulator specifications include Proline Fusion Avionics, Autothrottle, electric motion actuators, and advanced software capabilities (e.g., Upset Prevention and Recovery Training, Windshear, Airframe Icing).
- The contractor is responsible for site preparation, installation, and maintaining a 95% availability rate.
Contract Details
- Type: Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Cost Reimbursable components.
