Scope of Work

The requirement involves the installation and management of enterprise-grade Wi-Fi across six warehouse facilities on Fort Hood, Texas. The primary objective is to support handheld inventory scanning devices and ensure operational throughput. Key aspects include:

  • Installation of a Managed Network Edge (MNE) service using enterprise-grade hardware and a cloud-based management portal.
  • Deployment of Wireless Access Points (WAPs), cabling, power, and associated network hardware compliant with DoD WLAN guidance.
  • Configuration and management of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) with IDS/IPS, content filtering, and cloud-based centralized management.
  • Implementation of WPA2/3-Enterprise wireless security, network segmentation via VLANs, and 24x7x365 monitoring and alerting via a Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • Design and implementation of an RF network to meet a minimum Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) of -65 dBm for interior coverage and sufficient exterior coverage for handheld scanners.
  • Provision of WAN and Edge Connectivity, including enterprise firewall and SFP transceivers.
