Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for providing comprehensive laundry services to Naval Health Clinic Hawaii facilities across multiple locations.

• Provide all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, and supervision for laundry services.

• Service Delivery Summary: Performance objectives include timely pick-up/delivery (95% of scheduled days/times), adherence to Medical Laundry Standards (95% of items), correct packaging (95% of items), and accurate quantities (95% on delivery ticket). Valid customer complaints are limited to two per month; a third constitutes a defect.

• Sanitation: Compliance with sanitation requirements, state/local laws, and OSHA/APIC standards for blood-borne pathogens.

• Performance Locations: NBHC Makalapa Family Practice, NBHC Makalapa Dental, NBHC Makalapa PT/SMART Clinic, NBHC Camp HM Smith, NBHC Wahiawa, NBHC MCBH Kaneohe Bay, and NBHC MCBH 21st Dental.

• Hours of Operation: Service between 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on scheduled days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Tuesday, Thursday), coordinated with the Linen Manager.

• Personnel: Must be qualified, present a neat appearance, and possess government-issued passes. Must receive orientation and training in infection prevention and control, comply with OSHA BBP-ECP, use appropriate PPE, and adhere to environmental/ventilation requirements.
