Scope of Work
The Coordinator will serve as the primary Law Enforcement and Justice Sector Coordinator for INL/EA in Vietnam. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing analysis on Vietnam’s criminal justice policy and legislative developments.
- Managing all phases of INL law enforcement and criminal justice sector programs, from strategy development and budget formulation to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Facilitating training, mentoring, and technical assistance for host-nation law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, and legal professionals.
- Coordinating acquisitions, procurements, contracts, and grants using foreign assistance funds.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with Vietnamese criminal justice officials, civil society, international donors, and other USG entities.
- Supervising 2-3 local staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain Secret (and potentially Top Secret) security, medical, and ethics clearances. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in U.S. foreign assistance or the criminal justice sector, and at least 3 years of supervisory and leadership experience in a multicultural environment.
