Quick Summary

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, intends to issue a solicitation (W912DR26RA034) for the design and construction of a new Component Rebuild Shop at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA. This is a presolicitation notice for an unrestricted competition, anticipating a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract using a Two-Phase Design-Build to Budget (DBtB) approach. The project involves demolishing an existing building and constructing a new 72,000 GSF facility. The anticipated solicitation release is March 18, 2026, with the Phase One Request For Qualifications (RFQ) expected around March 13, 2026.

Scope of Work

The project includes the demolition of an existing 16,700 GSF building and the construction of a new facility of approximately 72,000 GSF. The new Component Rebuild Shop will support depot-level maintenance for ground support and guided missile systems, featuring vehicle repair bays, administrative offices, building support areas, and extensive site work including utilities, paving, and parking. The successful offeror will be solely responsible for developing the design solution.
