Scope of Work

The selected contractor will be responsible for:

  • Providing a diverse range of fresh and healthy food, snack, and beverage choices.
  • Maintaining, cleaning, and replacing vending machines and micro-market supplies.
  • Performing all repairs, maintenance, and service to machines and fixtures.
  • Managing the movement and installation of vending machines, including responsibility for any facility damage.
  • Implementing a cash-free kiosk Point of Sale (POS) system with multiple payment options.
  • Ensuring vending machines are accessible to hearing and sight-impaired individuals, with braille and audible features.
  • Adhering to FDA vending machine labeling requirements for food calories, with a minimum of 60% healthy food options.
  • Providing freshly prepared foods, microwavable foods, non-refrigerated snacks, cold name-brand beverages, and hot beverages (coffee/tea) with accompanying supplies.
  • Implementing adequate restocking and rotation policies (First-In/First-Out - FIFO) to prevent stockouts and expired products.
  • Demonstrating environmental stewardship and sustainability practices.
