Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive group life insurance coverage for eligible Locally Employed (LE) Staff of the U.S. Government in Thailand. Key benefits include:
- Employee Life Insurance: 24 times monthly basic salary for natural death.
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment: 24 times monthly basic salary, in addition to natural death benefit.
- Public Accidental Death & Disability Benefit: According to the insurance company's standard policy. Coverage is worldwide, 24 hours per day, and applies to full-time or part-time LE Staff under non-temporary direct-hire appointments or personal services agreements/contracts of at least one year, paid under the Local Compensation Plan within Thailand. Exclusions apply for war, terrorism, illegal acts, etc. A brochure in English and Thai detailing benefits is required.
