Scope of Work
The DLA Strategic Materials Directorate is seeking comprehensive information from potential vendors regarding their capabilities to supply 550 metric tons (MT) of Lithium Carbonate. The RFI requests detailed input across several key categories:
- General Data: Company name, GSA/other contract numbers, socioeconomic status, CAGE code, UEI, business size, and primary point of contact.
- Experience: Examples of direct and non-prime experience, including contract details, scope, value, and company role.
- Capabilities: Identification of relevant regulations, certifications, equipment, teaming/subcontracting intentions, and financial resources.
- Material Information: Details on grades, forms, specifications, purity requirements, common impurities, industry limits, and testing methods.
- Supply Information: Source locations, supply chain details, annual production/throughput, production lead times, recycling involvement, and pricing.
- Delivery Information: Typical order-to-delivery time, quantities, subcontractor usage, origin locations, delivery capacity, and estimated delivery time for 550 MT.
- Storage Information: Common storage conditions, typical storage duration, shelf life, environmental impact, and safety/environmental controls.
- Market Information: Changes in market price, seasonality, anticipated manufacturing/technology shifts, and potential material substitutions.
