Scope of Work

The contractor will provide qualified personnel to inspect 126 pieces of LHE, including overhead cranes, jib cranes, chain hoists, cable hoists, gantry cranes, and trolleys. All equipment is considered "Overhead Cranes" for contractual purposes. Key tasks include:

  • Functional testing of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems through full range of operation, in accordance with EM 385-1-1.
  • Functional testing of all hoists without load.
  • Verification of safety devices for proper operation.
  • Inspection of wire ropes according to OSHA, ASME EM 385-1-1, and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Submission of inspection forms and certificates for each equipment piece within ten days of final inspection.
