Scope of Work
The government requires a smart locker system, hardware, and installation, along with an annual subscription and annual preventative and corrective maintenance. The system must be installed at the Deployment Processing Center (Bldg 1518) at Charleston AFB, SC. Key requirements include:
- Locker Construction: 16 or 18-gauge double reinforced cold-rolled steel, operational in extreme temperatures (-13° to +122°F) and high humidity (up to 100% non-condensing), resistant to rain, salt, and Category 3 cyclone conditions.
- System Integration: Cloud-based software platform for access control, user authentication, usage monitoring, and data analytics.
- Sensors: Passive RFID tags, Proximity sensors, and PIR sensors for movement detection. Alternative solutions for package detection (e.g., Unique Pin Codes, QR Codes, RFID Readers, Badge Readers, monitored cameras) are acceptable.
- Dimensions: Lockers must fit within W362" x H80" x D24" space, accommodating A-bag (24"x20"x20") and C-bag (24"x15"x15") simultaneously. An awning bringing the height to 92”-95" is acceptable.
- Control Towers: Industrial-grade touchscreens with camera, keypad, 1D/2D barcode scanner, and speaker.
- Services: One year of maintenance and repairs, annual subscription for software, security, and support, and annual preventative/corrective maintenance. Installation includes software setup and configuration.
- Quantity: 18-22 actual lockers, not openings. Two configuration options are presented: Option 1 (20 custom doors, 36"x24"x24" each) and Option 2 (22 custom doors, 24"x24"x24" each).
- Site Conditions: Power and network (WIFI) are available at the site.
