Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide specialized tools, equipment, and qualified labor to inspect, test, maintain, and repair the Lajes Field Air Force Base Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) to ensure its serviceability and prevent deterioration.

• Maintain one (1) MAFT and associated equipment (Butane Tank, Generator, Air compressor) at Lajes Field AB.

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance.

• Perform minor repairs to keep the MAFT fully operational.

• Comply with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Air Force Technical Order (TO) 35E1-2-13-1, commercial standards, manufacturers' recommendations, and applicable local, state, and federal guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards: NFPA 54 (2021), NFPA 58 (2020), NFPA 70 (2020), NFPA 405 (2020), NFPA 1003 (2019), NFPA 1402 (2019), and NFPA 1403 (2018).

• Provide 24/7 toll-free telephone and on-line technical support for troubleshooting.

• Provide all specialized tools and testing equipment.

• Inspections and preventive maintenance must be performed within one week of re-performance.

• Minor repairs must be performed upon scheduled.

• Performance thresholds for inspections and minor repairs include categories like Excellent (0 defects), Very Good (1 defect), Satisfactory (2 defects), Marginal (3 defects), and Unsatisfactory (more than 3 defects).
